Adopt-A-Highway With Our Chavez Corps

Our Cesar Chavez Conservation Corps team worked on the Adopt-a-Highway project yesterday along the 99 freeway.

The Adopt-a-Highway program saves taxpayers millions of dollars in cleanup costs and allows state governments to allocate transportation funds to other projects. The number of state employees devoted to highway cleanup and beautification has plunged since the advent of the Adopt-a-Highway program.

We ask all Californians to be part of the solution, dispose of trash responsibly, and secure cargo loads before getting on the road.

Our goal is to continue to work on keeping our highways clean.
